District Information

Precinct Three is the western most precinct in Harris County and is home to over one million residents. The precinct is over 451 square miles in size with 308 square miles in the unincorporated areas of Harris County and 143 square miles in the incorporated areas. The commissioner and his/her staff maintain: 
• 1,879 miles of roads and 26,033 feet of bridges. • 63 parks covering 14,888+ acres that include 80 miles of hike and bike trails and five dog parks. • Eight community centers have over 500,000 visitors annually. • Vehicles and power equipment within the Precinct’s Fleet Services Division valued at over $25 million.
